Canada takes Facebook to Court – Lime Scooter dis-ease in Brisbane

  • Canada’s federal privacy commissioner is taking Facebook to court after an investigation found it had violated numerous privacy laws by failing to protect Canadian users’ personal information.
  • Lime electric scooters have been pulled from the streets of Brisbane Australia after hackers reprogrammed the scooters to talk dirty to users. “Please try using lube if you’re really going to ride me”, is a softer example of language used in the prank.
  • Google’s John Mueller confirmed the no-follow attribute is working well and serving its purpose. He suggests webmasters have learned how to use the tag and hasn’t “seen many cases of sites causing themselves significant issues, or of pages not getting credit in quite some time.”
